It is rare that we write anything on our blog posts. We want all your attention on the images, but after this year and the weddings we’ve been lucky enough to photograph and be a part of we wanted to share a little something. Jess and Matt had never planned for the wedding they were forced to have due to Covid, but they did not let them stop that from having the best day ever! The day started with the two of them getting ready in Matt’s parents house. Hanging, laughing, drinking and just spending the morning together. Followed by a ceremony at St. Bernards in Mt. Lebanon and then a tour of Pittsburgh with their closest friends and family. With stops on the Northside, Heinz Field, PNC Park and Mt. Washington. After the tour they were surprised with a small reception at Jessica’s parents house where even more of their family and friends gathered to celebrate the two. Even with a smaller wedding the two of them had the time of their lives! 2020 was not the year that ANYONE planned for, but we adapted, and made it work. 2021 might be the same, might be better. The best thing we can say is to let loose, have fun, adapt and roll with the punches.
What a strange and uncertain time we are living in. No exact end to COVID, couples having to reschedule because they can not have the celebration they hoped and planned for and the weddings that are happening have been adjusted to fit strict guidelines. Nonetheless, this did not stop Tara and Krishna for celebrating with their friends and family. It was an honor to a part of their small group and capture their Hindu Puja.
